Dear friends and colleagues,
attached you find a report and an article on the Handover Ceremony of the Josef Peter Rindfleisch Collection. We are very pleased that this 8-years struggle for the repatriation of the collection has come to a satisfactory end.
Our thanks go to many individuals and institutions for their manifold support, especially to the Nepalese and German embassies—namely His Excellency Chargé d’Affaires a.i. Sagar Phuyal and Ambassador Udo Volz—as well as to Heidelberg University, the Heidelberg Academy of Sciences and Humanities, and the Heidelberg University Library.
Best wishes from the team Dres. Manik Bajracharya, Rajan Khatiwoda, Ramhari Timalsina u.a.
Axel Michaels
