When it comes to confirmatory entries in grammars, Wackernagel is the place
to look (p. 280 with examples). In essence:


„Dvandvaverhältnis zwischen den Gliedern [of a bahuvrīhi, WS] ist selten,
doch von Saṃhitā bis spät zu belegen.“
