I tend to think that caNkrama(-patha/-mArga) is much more likely.
Possibly also pradak.si.na-patha. As the orthography of 'drul in Tibetan
is brda rnying, if this is occurring in old (8th or early 9th c.)
translations, then either of these would be plausible.
