Dear Friends,
I'm trying to track down a couple of pages from this book:
Chandra, Moti, and Umakant Premanand Shah. 1975. *New Documents of Jaina
Painting: Illustrated catalog of paintings, 1346–1812 A.D., with exhaustive
introduction*. Shri Mahavira Jaina Vidyalaya.
Google Books does not allow opening up the specific pages.
I'm interested in page 38, Fig 87 'Actors and pole-dancers'
and the commentary on page 100.
I would appreciate it if some kind soul could take a couple of photos and
share them with me.
I'm also trying to hunt down the original text of:
The acrobat Ilāputra (ĀvC 1.484.11-485.13),
which, so far, I've only got as close as the translation by:
Granoff, Phyllis, ed. 1990. Clever Adulteress & Other Stories: A Treasury
Of Jain Stories. Oakville: Mosaic Press. (page 32).
I have found a copy of:
Vijaya, Jina, ed. 1934. Vividha Tīrtha Kalpa of Jinaprabha Sūri: Part 1.
Śāntiniketan: Adhisṭhātā, Siṅghī Jaina Jñānapīṭha.
Though, I haven't had a chance to try to find it in there, yet.
Thank you,
Patrick
