It is my pleasure to announce that the Weller Prize 2026 was awarded to

Aruna Gamage, for his work

and to Jean-Marie Verpoorten, for his work

d’Histoire des Religions, Hors-série 1), 2025.

The award ceremony took place on April 10 at the Open Session of the  
Saxon Academy of Sciences and Humanities.
