[INDOLOGY] Ravi as name of the sun

Thank you to both Lubomir Ondracka and to Madhav Deshpande (offline)  who
both pointed me to Mayrhofer.

1) Note that both EWA and KEWA are downloadable from archive.org

2) I was struck at how different the entry for "ravi" was in KEWA from that
in EWA. I then found this interesting  article by Paul Thieme 'On M.
Mayrhofer's "Etymologisches Wörterbuch des Altindoarischen"' in JSTOR
  https://www.jstor.org/stable/620576
where he notes at the beginning of the article ". . .EWA ...is not , as the
author rightly insists a new and improved edition of KEWA, but a renewed
attempt in its own rights. . ."
