 Dear Colleagues and Friends,
An update on this matter:

Following a remarkable and well coordinated group effort, the whole library of the late Michel Angot has found an excellent new home (in fact two, some volumes also went to the Collège de France). The majority of the holdings have been carefully and attentively received and catalogued in a newly created university library "Angot section" under the care of Prof. Fernando Wulff at the University of Malaga, Spain, where, I understand, a substantial Indological collection is being established.
Indeed, Prof. Wulff made it known that he would be delighted if similar donations were to be offered to his institution. As offers of this kind have indeed been made on this list in the past, this information may well be of interest to someone. Any communications and enquiries in this sense should be forwarded to Prof. Wullf's attention at the following email address:bblcoord at uma.es .
With all good wishes,
Elizabeth De Michelis

Dear All,Former students of the late Michel Angot are taking care of what remains available of his prodigious Indological library, about 2,000 choice volumes, which is now looking for a home. The best thing would be to keep the whole collection together. An Excel list of the titles has been compiled, which can be forwarded to those who may be interested. The library is currently housed near Valence in France, and in an ideal world it would be picked up by the institution or individual interested. Alternatively, the students may be able to help with actually carrying out or sponsoring its transport if the collection were to be moved relatively locally (say France, Italy, Switzerland....).If you would like to receive the list and/or discuss the matter, please get in touch directly (in English, French or Italian) with the following person:Antonio   email address:   sanscrito1010 at gmail.comCordially,Elizabeth De Michelis
