Dear list members,
Two new etexts from the Muktabodha/IFP collaborative project have been
added to the Muktabodha digital library.

*Ṣoḍaśasubrahmanyadhyānam*
and
*Mannāthaśyāmalāpratiṣṭhāvidhi*
RE10778 Ṣoḍaśasubrahmanyadhyānam. This bundle contains three different
portions covering dissimilar aspects of devotion and astrology. The first
portion deals with Ṣoḍaśasubrahmaṇyadhyānam, describes sixteen distinct
forms of Lord Subrahmaṇya through meditative verses. The second part
contains, Pañcaviṃśati-maheśvararūpabheda, it also presents Dhyānaśloka-s
for 25 unique forms of Lord Śiva, offering awareness into varied
representations and contemplative practices. The final slice reads,
Jātakaśiromaṇiḥ, which is an astrological text detailing the twelve bhāvās
(houses) of the Jātakacakra (horoscope wheel); however, this section
appears to be incomplete.
The bundle contains 30 folios and there are 5 to 6 lines in each folio.
This manuscript serves as a valuable resource, blending devotional content
with astrological insights, and is particularly useful for scholars
exploring Śaiva iconography and early Jyotiṣa traditions.
RE32415 Mannāthaśyāmalāpratiṣṭhāvidh. This bundle comprises two significant
chapters from the illustrious Śaiva texts. The first chapter is
Mannāthaśyāmalāpratiṣṭhāvidhi from the Sakalāgamasaṅgraha, which is a
supplementary text to the Śaivāgama, detailing the elaborate procedures for
the consecration of Mannātha (my God). The second chapter is
Cāmuṇdāpūjāvidhi from the Rauravāgama, one of the 28 Mūla Śaivāgamas, which
outlines the ritualistic procesure for the worship of Goddess Cāmuṇḍā.
The bundle contains 30 folios and there are 5 lines in each folio. The size
of this bundle is 31 cm / 3 cm. This manuscript provides valuable insights
into the consecration and worship practices prescribed in the Śaivāgamic
tradition, offering a detailed guide for ritual experts and scholars
studying the ceremonial intricacies of the Siddhānta Śaivism.
