Dear CONSALD colleagues,
Please see this link (https://www.usajobs.gov/job/790234600) with the exciting news that LC’s Asian Division in Washington, DC is conducting an open search for two supervisory librarians. There are two vacancies with simultaneous searches, one for each of the Asian Division’s two sections of reference staff:
- Head of the East Asian Section (Chinese, Japanese, and Korean collections)
- Head of the South Asian, Southeast Asian, Tibetan and Mongolian Section (South Asia, Southeast Asian, Tibetan, and Mongolian collections)
Note that the pay scale is GS 14 and that the closing date is Friday June 7, 2024. Applications are accepted online through USAJobs with this link:https://www.usajobs.gov/job/790234600.
Please share widely with your contacts, and I hope some CONSALD members will consider applying for the Asian Division’s SSATM Section Head. Feel welcome to reach out with questions.
Kind regards,
Jon
