Thank you very much for the response, Mrinal. Yeah, it seems to be just a
choice of the scribe. The Kashmiri Devanagari manuscripts have the same
symbol for om [image: image.png]
, and not the usual one like ॐ.
Here for example:

I wish we get a Unicode character for this symbol.
