[INDOLOGY] Hindi Lecturer Position, University of Texas at Austin

The Department of Asian Studies at the University of Texas at Austin is seeking a full-time lecturer in the Hindi language, to begin September 1st, 2019.  The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching three courses per semester, which will include a combination of the following: Hindi at the Accelerated Beginning, Intermediate, and Advanced levels, plus a course in Conversational Hindi.  Candidates who are also literate in the Urdu script are preferred.  Located at the flagship campus of the University of Texas System, the Department of Asian Studies provides an excellent and exciting context for teaching and research in the classical and modern languages of the South Asian region.
