[INDOLOGY] Purva Mimansha

To all,1.1.2.of Jaimini's Sutra' on Purva Mimansha,says- ChodanaLakshmanArthaDharma".I am eager to get an elaborate meaning of the term" Chodana".
Can anybody kindly  throw some light on this?
