Sanskrit diactitics in Endnote

In Endnote 9 on a PC, selecting Edit, Preferences and Display fonts allows you to change to any font you have installed.

I wonder if anyone has any experience of getting Sanskrit diacritics in 
a font like URW Palladio to work in the Endnote package. I look forward
