The Varnoccarana-siksa edited and translated into Hindi by Swami Dayananda in Vikrama samvat 1936 (reprint 1974 A.D.: Bahalagadha (Sonipata-Harayana): Sri Ramalala Kapura Trust Granthamala 42) and considered to be a shorter recension of Paniniya-siksa by some scholars bears considerable similarity to Apisali-siksa.
