If I may ask my own animal question: should ;svaav;idh- be rendered as
'porcupine' or is 'hedgehog' also possible? This seems to be important for
the interpretation of the word kar.n;a- at AV;S 5.13.9 (Whitney: 'hedgehog',
Bloomfield: 'porcupine').
