Request for suggestions on teaching about Varanasi

    I am seeking your suggestions in the interest of
    disseminating  something positive about India.

Then consider dropping the Amar Chitra Katha comics from the
recommended reading for teachers !
 
If memory serves me right, they have a tendency to treat Hinduism
as synonymous with India, at the expense of the other religons
particularly Islam.
