Devanagari MF font

Stephen asked where the Devanagari font for TeX can be found.
Firstly, yes it is free, though copyrighted (so it has to go
on being free).  This free distribution was made possible by
generous grants from the Computing Centre in Groningen and
the Wellcome Institute in London.
 
As for where to get it, the London Archie server reports the

The .zip file is the orighinal distribution; the .tar.Z files contain
mods for Unix.  I don't know what the devnagri.tar.Z file at Duke is: perhaps
someone can tell us?
