Yesterday's Independent newspaper carried an advertisement for the
following position:
 
Keeper of Eastern Art.
 
Salary 27880-30294 pounds, subject to revision.  The keeper should be a
scholar in a field related to the collection (China, Japan, Korea, SE
Asia, Indian subcontinent and Muslim Middle East) and should have had
administrative experience.
