Dear list members,

The critical edition of the Mahābhārata has āśramavāsika-parvan as parvan 15 and mausala-parvan as parvan 16 but the SARIT version of the southern recension has them in the opposite order, i.e. mausala-parvan as parvan 15 and āśramavāsika-parvan as parvan 16.

Can someone confirm that these two parvans are in different orders in the critical edition and in the southern recension. Is the critical edition a critical edition of the northern recension?
