Dear Colleagues,
With apologies for cross-posting, I want to send a brief note of reminder about the
Landour Language School, which has been operating since 1905 in Landour, a picturesque cantonment just above the hill station of Mussoorie in Uttarakhand, near Dehradun.
The school has room to accommodate new in-person and online students, and I am writing to encourage you to send good students their way.
As many will know, Landour offers one-on-one, 50-minute lessons in Hindi (as well as
Urdu and occasionally other languages as well). These lessons are inexpensive by European and North American standards. I've attended the school myself in person, and I continue to take a weekly lesson online. Some of our students from UVa have attended
as well.
Enquiries are best directed to Antara Rai, the school administrator, via
WhatsApp, at +91 84779 99929.
I hope you'll send students to the school. Also, please feel free to write to me if I can help in any way (though I am not a representative of the school, only an enthusiastic student).
Sincerely,
John
