In honor and celebration of Professor George Cardona’s 90th birthday, we are pleased to announce the publication of the first volume of विमर्शिनी Vimarśinī: The Sanskrit Library Journal. This volume includes five in-depth research articles devoted to Sanskrit vyākaraṇa by Dr. Tanuja Ajotikar, Dr. Sharon Ben-Dor and myself. The journal is available in a hard-cover printed volume for a modest cost, and by on-line access free of cost. On-line intensive summer Sanskrit courses
Last call for The Sanskrit Library's on-line intensive summer Sanskrit courses. The series US101S–US201S:
- Covers the equivalent of two semesters of introductory Sanskrit in two months 1 June–24 July 2026,
- Conducts live meetings as well as providing access to pre-recorded video presentations,
- Utilizes the Sanskrit Library's sophisticated but easy-to-use interactive exercise platform that provides just-in-time help and immediate evaluation at every step of each exercise.
- Taught by Professor Peter Scharf who taught Sanskrit in the Classics Department at Brown University for 19 years.
- Utilizes the professor’s textbook शब्दब्रह्मन्: A linguistic introduction to Sanskrit. 2022.
