Please see the attached flyer for an excellent role playing game developed by J. Noel Hubler, Ashoka: Becoming the Dharma King. It’s a highly engaging way to teach students about ancient India. Noel did a beta test of this game at the AAR a few years ago, in which I had the privilege of participating. It really brings the past to life and helps students to think through philosophical, political, and historical questions.
