Dear colleagues,

We cordially invite you to participate in an International Conference on the Works of Svāmi Saccidānandendra Sarasvatī, to be held on May 19-20, 2026 at the Mattoo Center for India Studies, State University of New York, Stony Brook.

Svāmi Saccidānandendra Sarasvatī (1880–1975) (SSS) was one of modern Advaita Vedānta's most prolific yet underrecognized scholars. His extraordinary corpus encompasses over 250 works in Sanskrit, English, and Kannada, including critically edited translations of Śaṅkarācārya's major commentaries, original Sanskrit commentaries engaging with post-Śaṅkara literature, and independent monographs. His works remain largely unknown and deserve serious scholarly attention.

We welcome abstracts from faculty, graduate students, and independent scholars on any aspect of SSS's work—from textual analysis and comparative studies to methodological innovations and broader contextual studies within the Advaita tradition. Please see the attachment for more details.
