My father wrote and published a book in Telugu called " Shakti Pitha Tatva Vivechanamu "

It discusses various kinds of groupings of Shakti Pithas other than the most known group of 18 also along with that known 18 grouping and the idea behind each of these groupings.

It has a literature review with a bibliographical survey.

One Mr Adheer Som who wrote an English book on Sri Chakra was in correspondence with me and was telling how he discussed the Shkti Piothas and their geography under the guidance of his guru.

In addition to the classics already mentioned, Anway Mukhopadhyay's "Devī As Corpse" has some interesting work and interpretations of the Śaktipīṭhas.

For some useful maps of various Śākta pīṭhas, Mark Dyczkowski's chapter "The Inner Pilgrimage of the Tantras" in his "A Journey in the World of Tantras" book, has a number of maps outlining sacred sites from the Kubjikāmatatantra, JRY, Manthānabhairavatantra, etc., plus many charts and info on their inner equivalence within/on the body.
