The intensive would give de-dī... these adjectives are at least synchronically made from perfect stems. Anyway jāgr̥vi- is another example of an adjective of this type with a double suffix, and in Avestan it only has the -u- suffix, so Grestenberger suggests there were some -u- adjectives that were secondarily given -i- suffixes in Sanskrit. dī-di-u-i, jā-gr̥-u-i
