Dear Friends,

Next week, we are organizing two info sessions about our MA programme in South Asian Studies. If you have promising BA students who are looking to begin graduate work in any of our expertises and specialisation options (Sanskrit, Prakrit, Buddhism, Jainism, Islam in South Asia, textuality, material culture, art history, etc.), please send this information their way.

We are holding two info sessions, one suitable for North American time zones and one suitable for time zones in Asia. Folk can register to either to receive a meeting link:

On Tuesday March 18th, at 17:00 CET (IST 21:30; EDT 12:00): https://event.ugent.be/registration/InfosessionMA1

On Wednesday March 19th, at 11:00 CET (IST 16:00) https://event.ugent.be/registration/infosessionMA2

Perhaps this may be of special interest to young folk in North America who may be eager, for whatever reason, to see what life is like on another continent. However, for those who do not wish to leave the confines of their current location we also offer the option to follow the Master programme in South Asian Studies at Ghent University completely long distance. Our classes are streamed live and students from anywhere in the world can join us. The degree is the same as the regular MA in South Asian Studies. Isn't that convenient?

With my best wishes,
Charles
