Thank you for this precious information and the responses from Christoph Rauch.
While the preservation of fragile acetate-based items is a natural priority, I wonder if
the Oriental Department of the Staatsbibliothek zu Berlin would also consider including a
policy of digitizing on demand? (Perhaps this is already a policy and I just don't know about it.)
