I don’t believe such phrasing is in the Brihad either, but there are resonances (along with Madhav’s suggestion) in the Brahmavallī of TU (for example, 2.8-9 and a parallel in BAU 4.3.33, on degrees of bliss
that culminate with brahman and then discuss death, i.e., a return).
