Dear Colleagues,

With many thanks to Lidia Wojtczak, who has taken care of the
International Indology Graduate Research Symposium (IIGRS)
since 2019, Vitus Angermeier and I are honored to take over
responsibility for this event format as members of the Steering
Committee at the beginning of this year. In
the course of this there are a few updates.

      – After a few short breaks during the pandemic, we are working
towards holding the IIGRS every year again. The last IIGRS
was held in December last year at Toyo University in Japan, and we
already have (potential) locations for 2025 and 2026. Keep an eye
      open for the upcoming CfPs.

      – The proceedings of symposiums (Puṣpikā) are published by
the Fair Open Access publisher Heidelberg Asian Studies
        Publishing (https://hasp.ub.uni-heidelberg.de/catalog/series/puspika).
Fair Open Access means that the opportunity to publish research
results depends only on the scientific quality – and not on the
financial or institutional situation of the editors and authors.

      – The publication guidelines for Puṣpikā editors have been
      updated
      (https://iigrs.wordpress.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/11/pue1b9a3pika_guidelines.pdf).

      – The website has been updated to reflect all these
      changes (https://iigrs.wordpress.com/).

If you have any questions, please write to iigrscontact@gmail.com

      Happy 2025 and best regards,
Dominik A. Haas & Vitus Angermeier
