Dear Colleagues,
Last year I published preliminary editions of a number of Sāmavedic texts — two of them, the Jaimini-Kalpa and the Jaimini+Paryadhyāya, previously unknown —, all with the excellent commentary of Bhavatrāta (or his student and son-in-law Jayanta), who lived in Kerala around 700 CE, and from whom we learn very much about Sāmaveda. The commentaries were first published in 1966 by Premnidhi Shastri on the basis on a single corrupt manuscript and (with the exception of the JŚS) without the knowledge of the texts they are commenting, while the present editions are based on the best existing mss. The commentary on the JGS has not been published before.
All these texts appeared in the Electronic Journal of Vedic Studies, vol. 27 (2023), issues 1-10 and can be downloaded free of charge:

but one can expect that the mediators will add their profit margin to the prices. As the books are printed only according to demand, they cannot be delivered instantly: you may get the book only a couple of weeks after placing the order.
With best wishes, also for Merry Christmas and Happy New Year 2025,
