In this session, Prof. Kaul will explore the theme of Abhinavagupta and Non-Duality. The discussion will highlight how Abhinavagupta’s unified meta-category of non-dual consciousness bridges binaries while emphasizing inclusivism and pluralistic forms of singular consciousness. It will also delve into connections to modern ideas such as pluralistic non-dualism and subjective pluralism, as well as the relevance of his philosophy in contemporary contexts.
