Dear List members,
In Jambūvijay's edition of the Āyāraṃgasutta (Jaina Āgama Series), within the
uddesaas topics are numbered. The contents of the respective topics are briefly described in the table of contents on pp. 75ff. The editor does not say, at least not in his short English introduction (I can't read the Gujarati one), on which this division
has been based. I assume the commentaries must have played a role in this. On the other hand, in several cases I do not find the division helpful. My question is if it was introduced by Jambūvijay (loosely based on the commentaries) or is part of the textual
tradition of the Āyāraṃgasutta.
