With thanks to my colleague CHHOM Kunthea, I can answer as follows:

It is the inscription classified as K. 302 in the EFEO inventory of Cambodian inscriptions or IMA (Inscriptions modernes d'Angkor) 3 in the list proposed by Saveros LEWITZ/POU.

The language is Middle Khmer in the corresponding variety of Khmer script.

See, i.a.,

Lewitz, Saveros. 1970. “Textes en khmer moyen: inscriptions modernes d’Angkor 2 et 3.” Bulletin de l’École française d’Extrême-Orient 57: 99–126. [DOI: 10.3406/befeo.1970.5413].

Kunthea will soon encode the inscription so that it will become available at dharmalekha.info.

Best wishes,

Arlo Griffiths

Subject: [INDOLOGY] Help -inscription at Angor Wat

Angkot wat.jpg
Dear colleagues,
A colleague of mine, who is not a member of the indology list, would like to know some information about an inscription that he had photographed at the Angkor Wat temple, Cambodia (script, language & content) . Please find the photographe attached.
I would be grateful if any of the list members could help us.
Thanks in advance and apologies for the troubles.
