Dear Prof. Vielle,

Thank you for finding this e-text. Unfortunately (but interestingly), I have not found any part of it that is a close match for what is in the MS, though they share several formulae (e.g. sarvaṃ vedaśubhāśubham, vidhir eṣa[ḥ] pravarttakaḥ, vedavedyaḥ [MS: vedavidyaḥparaḥ pumān). There is also a tag indicating Vyāsa as the speaker at the beginning of the 44th chapter in this version and in the MS I am working with, but the following contents appear to differ substantially.

Prof. Marzenna Czerniak-Drożdżowicz, one of the editors of the 11-chapter version, has kindly offered to check her copy of Bhattacharya's edition to see if it matches what is in this e-text or in my MS once she gets back from holiday. So I may just have to wait for further clarification on the relationship between this fragment and the published versions of the text.

Humbly yours,
Jason
