A friend of mine (not an Indologist) is strongly involved in Research Integrity, monitoring the world of predatory journals and article retractions.  He recently came across a case in our general field, and notified me.  This was spotted by the amazing Elisabeth Bik (if you don't know about her, she is worth learning about):
This sort of thing is a very big problem in the sciences, but apparently it's happening in humanities too, now.
