I would like to challenge my friend Matthew to show that Hebrew shumshum is related to Tibetan zhum zhum, which at least as I recall means to move furtively, like a cat.

Cofirmed. 

sesame oil in hebrew is שמן שומשום = shemen shumshum .
sesame is  שומשום = shumshum .
