Dear colleagues,A student of mine asks whether there exists a user-friendly reader with literal (interlinear) word-to-wordÂtranslations, which engages the texts of the early Upaniá¹£ads in the way the new PÄli reader of Bhikkhu BodhiÂ(2020) engages the PÄli texts.I was able to suggest only the ISKCON version of the Īśopaniá¹£ad and An Early Upaniá¹£adic Reader (2007) byÂHans Heinrich Hock (the latter publication is very close to what my student expects, but it places the glossary (orÂvocabulary) at the end of the book, making it harder for a beginner to use, and the translations are not literal).ÂAre there other similar readers?--With kind regards (mettÄya),
Gleb Sharygin, Dr. des.
