Dr. Gregory M. Clines is Assistant Professor of Religion at Trinity University, USA. He received a B.A. in Religious Studies from the University of Virginia in 2009, an M.A. in Religion from Columbia University in 2010, and a Ph.D. from Harvard University’s Committee on the Study of Religion in 2018. His research focuses on Jain literary and religious history in the early modern period, specifically Jain Sanskrit and vernacular versions of the Rāma story.

Dr. John E. Cort is Professor Emeritus of Religion and International Studies at Denison University in Granville, Ohio. His research is on religion, history, visual culture, and literary culture in western India, with a particular focus on the Jains. He is co-editor with Paul Dundas and Kristi L. Wiley of Brill’s Encyclopedia of Jainism (2020).
