Dear list members,

Isn'tt one solution to the high price of new academic books from certain publishers that these in copyright books be uploaded to the "Books to Borrow" library of archive.org (Thats how I got Stella Kramrisch's In the Presence of Shiva).

As it says

Books in this collection may be borrowed by logged in patrons.  You may read the books online in your browser or, in some cases, download them  . . .Please note that works in this collection are protected by copyright law

I didn't see how or who could upload books to this "books to borrow" library.
