Dear colleagues,
on this occasion I would like to mention that a host and location for the next IIGRS has yet to be found. Until now this graduate symposium has always taken place in Europe, but as the name includes "international", other locations would of course qualify as well. For further information, please visit the IIGRS website https://iigrs.wordpress.com/ or write to iigrsuk@googlemail.com. Please feel free to forward this information especially to younger colleagues and graduate students.
We really enjoyed holding this symposium in Vienna and very much
hope that the IIGRS will live on and prosper!
Best wishes,
Vitus Angermeier
Dear colleagues,
we are happy to announce the publication of the sixth volume in the series Puṣpikā, edited by Vitus Angermeier, Christian Ferstl, Channa Li, and myself.
The peer-reviewed series publishes the proceedings of the International Indology Graduate Research Symposium (IIGRS, https://iigrs.wordpress.com/); in this case, this was the 12th IIGRS, which took place in Vienna, Austria, 22nd–24th of July, 2021.
The current volume contains contributions from 13 authors: Jürgen Hanneder, Ge Ge, Seongho Choi, Sibylle Koch, Shihong Zhao, Mercy Dutta, Devdutta Kakati, Rosina Pastore, Amandine Wattelier-Bricout, Dominique Marcel Baur, Anna Scarabel, Charlotte Gorant, and Xiaoqiang Meng.
The new publisher of the Puṣpikā series is Heidelberg Asian Studies Publishing, a Fair Open Access publisher (see https://foasas.org/). You can download and/or order the current volume here:
