Dear Colleague,
I am happy to inform you that the International Standard Terminology documents of Ayurveda, Siddha, and Unani have been published by WHO.
The documents are essential tools that will provide a universally accepted interface between modern science and the time tested health care practices of traditional medicine. This is a mile stone in WHO’s work to support Member States to appropriately integrate traditional medicine in health system, for research, and effective communication between various medical systems.
Kindly do the needful to disseminate the same widely, especially where these systems are mostly regulated and has high community acceptance and buy-in.
