This verse is mentioned in Roque Mesquita’s Madhvas Zitate aus den Purāṇas und dem Mahābhārata: Eine analytische Zusammenstellung nicht identifizierbarer Quellenzitate in Madhvas Werken nebst Übersetzung und Anmerkungen (Wien 2007 p. 58) as one of many unidentifiable quotations that may have been invented by Madhva himself.
