Dear scholars,
We are delighted to inform you that Amrita Darshanam — International Centre for Spiritual Studies, in association with Nārivāda, Indira Gandhi National Centre for the Arts (IGNCA), is organizing a three-day national workshop on “Śakti Worship in India” from September 21 to 23, 2018 at Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Kollam, Kerala.
The seminar aims to recognize the significance of śakti worship in the spiritual traditions of India through the centuries, and create a platform for meaningful dialogues and intellectual exchanges between scholars, students and wider communities who are interested in this field for further researches and studies.
More than 25 scholars of renown will deliver invited lectures on the different aspects of śakti worship in India. Scholars engaged in original research on related themes are encouraged to submit 300-word paper abstracts to icssseminar@gmail.com by July 31, 2018.
The proceedings of the conference will be published by IGNCA.
