Before Farm to Table: Early Modern Foodways and Cultures, the inaugural project of the Mellon Initiative in Collaborative Research at the Folger Institute of the Folger Shakespeare Library, invites applications for $10,000 semester-long fellowships. 

 

Fellowships must be held in residence at the Folger for a three-to-four month term, in either Spring or Fall of 2019. Eligible scholars must hold a Ph.D. and propose work on topics relating to early modern food and foodways in the British world, broadly conceived.
