The situation is indeed not satisfying. Since the NGMCP and the Nepal Research Centre have been closed down last year, we are working on a solution for again supplying manuscript copies together with the National Archives Nepal through the South Asia Institute Branch Office in Kathmandu. We hope that this will be soon possible. For the time being you can only order such copies in Nepal or through a German colleague from the State Library Berlin.

Subject: [INDOLOGY] Ordering NGMCP manuscript copies in Germany

Dear list members,

The NGMCP website.  https://www2.uni-hamburg.de/ngmcp/none_e.html
states that manuscript copies are no longer available either in Kathmandu or Germany.  Does any member have any information on when it will again be possible to order manuscript copies in either Germany or Kathmandu.

Many thanks,
Harry Spier
