could anyone tell me whether the authors of two articles written by "A. Rangasvami Sarasvati" in 1923 were indeed the same person, or could there have been two scholars of the same name (same spelling too), active at the same time? Perhaps an Indian colleague who belongs to his (their?) guru-śiṣya lineage might help my curiosity.

One of the articles is: ‘The Age of Bharavi and Dandin or The Literary History of the Pallava Period’ The Quarterly Journal of the Mythic Society vol. 13:670–688
And the other is: ‘Dêvîchandraguptam or Chandragupta Vikramâditya’s Destruction of the Śaka Satraps (A glimpse into Gupta history from Sanskrit Literature)’ The Indian Antiquary vol. 52:181–184.
