dear Herman/Matthew,

The Taishō Sino-Japanese Tripiṭaka includes about 1600 works of Indian origin. I do not know
if there is a readily available calculation of the degree of duplication with the Tibetan collections.

Park's Catalogue of the Korean Buddhist Canon (usually cited under Lancaster's name) has an index of Tohoku (Derge Tibetan Canon) to Korean canon numbers, conveniently available electronically: http://www.acmuller.net/descriptive_catalogue/indexes/index-tohoku.html

this might help with this one aspect of Matthew's suggestion.

cordially, Jonathan
