The History Department of Colorado College invites applications for a tenure-track position at the assistant professor level beginning in September 2013.  Teaching emphasis will be in South Asian History, with focus on any chronological era possible but ability to communicate important regional and national themes across periods and to set South Asian history in world context essential.  Secondary field in environmental history, colonialism and imperialism, or gender studies desirable.  Research specialty open.
