[INDOLOGY] In memoriam: Professor Mandakranta Bose

A very sad news indeed. I knew her since 2018 when she was visiting New
Delhi and was kind enough to call me and meet me for extending an
invitation for the World Sanskrit Conference being held in Vancouver.
Thereafter we met again in the Conference and she was always there at the
venue smiling  and taking care of the delegates. I used to call her my
elder sister (Didi) according to Indian tradition and she reciprocated like
one. She also invited me to her residence but due to the busy conference
schedule I could not make it. I hoped I would do it at a later date but
that was not to be.
A scholar, a teacher and a researcher also an affectionate person she will
be missed by her friends, colleagues and all who knew her. My condolences
to her family. May she attain Moksha 🕉️Shanti Shanti Shanti
