Dear Gaia,
Maybe the data and references discussed in §5.1 of the Introduction to the following book will be of some use to you:

Subject: [INDOLOGY] depiction of Hiraṇyakaśipu in Orissan art
Dear list members,
I am examining a small recent (20th c.?)
palm-leaf manuscript that reproduces the first
prabandha of the first sarga of Jayadeva's
Gītagovinda, along with miniatures
of the ten avatāras.
Narasiṃha is quite predictably depicted in the
act of tearing open Hiraṇyakaśipu's stomach.
In this connection, I would appreciate very
much if someone could point me towards other
manuscript miniatures, or paintings of other kind
and size, which depict Hiraṇyakaśipu in the
same or other scenes (and/or the books,
journals, websites, etc., in which I can find them).
I would like to compare his appearance
(beginning with his complexion) across
multiple paintings.
Since I am almost sure that this manuscript is
a product of Orissa, it would be ideal to start
from Orissan art.
All the very best,
Gaia Pintucci
